Homework: Peer graph
A graph is defined as a set of vertices and edges. You’re going to create a graph of your team.
Put a circle in the middle of the page, and label it with your name.
Draw lines to circles representing each other person on your team. Label each vertex with their name.
Spend 5-10 minutes reflecting on the team.
Next to each edge, write a ‘weight’ showing how ‘strong’ or ‘good’ that relationship is. Assume ‘0’ is a neutral relationship, and have the numbers go from -10 to 10, with -10 being a horrible relationship, and 10 being an amazing relationship. Then, next to each weight, write a ‘+’, ‘=’, or ‘-’, depending on the current or anticipated trajectory of the relationship.
Looking at this graph, is there anything you want to change about it?
Advanced
Fill in the rest of the graph. What do you think the weights are for between your different teammates? Who interacts well with who? Who’s at odds with who? Are there ‘clusters’ of 3-4 people who interact well?
